About Us.....
New Haven Farm Home Limited is a non-profit organisation that operates a residential service for adults with an intellectual disability.
Located at Freemans Reach, about 12 km from Windsor on the north-western fringe of Sydney, the service is located in a rural setting on 16 ha of farmland.
New Haven has operated successfully for nearly 40 years and currently has places for 26 adults (aged 18 years and over) who have an intellectual disability. At the moment the residents live in a motel style farm settingl, while New Haven works with the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care to provide a range of accommodation to independent living in a community setting.
We are a service that provides residents with training in life skills allowing for participation in the wider community and the development of social, living and vocational skills.
New Haven is funded under the CSDA agreement between the Commonwealth Government and the New South Wales State Government. The funding is administered through the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC).
