New Haven provides accommodation and respite care services that follow the principles and practices of the Disability Services Act and the Disability Service Standards.

Accommodation
Families can be referred through other agencies such as Department of
Ageing, Disability and Home Care
Families can self refer by contacting the service manager at New Haven
Referrals are assessed against our formal entry criteria and on the needs of
each individual
24 hour staff support
All medical/ pharmaceutical, podiatry services (at no extra cost)
Dietician approved menu
Shared or single room accommodation
Transport to supported employment workplaces
A structured skill and leisure program
All residents have an Individual Personal Plan (IPP)
A relaxed rural setting with room to move & animals to care for, for those so
inclined.
Regular community access and participation
Bus service to Windsor/Richmond
A commited board
A team of skilled, dedicated staff.

Respite

Short term or Long Term Respite - subject to availability.
Flexibility of service provision to assist and support families to have a break.
Fixed costs for respite service.
Program and community access support. Please note these costs are not
covered in the respite service fees. Any additional costs can be discussed at
the time of making your booking for a respite service.
